# Notivo

> Notivo is your private memory for work, a private manager's notebook. Capture quick notes about your team using @people and #topics, and Notivo files them by person, topic, and date into a private timeline you can recall for 1:1s, reviews, and promotion cases. It is a personal tool for one manager, not a team-collaboration or shared-docs product.

How it works: jot a note, tag who and what with @ and #, and Notivo organizes it automatically. An AI assistant works only over your own notes (retrieval over your private timeline) to draft recaps and answer questions, and it never trains on your data. Capture from the web app, from the native iOS app (free on the App Store), or by sending a message on WhatsApp. You can also paste a plan you made with ChatGPT or Claude into a note, and the @names and #topics route each line to the right person and topic. Sensitive notes can be marked @bb or #bb to go into the Black Box, a PIN-locked vault that is end-to-end encrypted and sealed on your device before storage, kept out of your timeline, search, exports, and AI until you unlock it. Note: only the Black Box is end-to-end encrypted; regular notes are private but not end-to-end encrypted.
