Wire Notivo into Claude once, and save a plan straight from the chat by saying @notivo. It works on
any Claude plan, including Free. Here is the whole setup.
To connect Notivo to Claude, copy your connection URL from Notivo under Settings, then AI Capture,
and in Claude open Settings, then Connectors, then Add custom connector, and paste it. Claude gives
every account one custom-connector slot, so this works on any plan, including Free. Once it is
connected, you plan as usual and say @notivo to save a plan into Notivo, tagged to the people and
topics in it.
Connect Claude in four steps
Copy your connection URL from Notivo. Open Settings, then AI Capture. Copy the URL,
which is unique to your account.
Open Connectors in Claude. Go to Settings, then Connectors. This slot is available
on every Claude plan, including Free.
Add a custom connector. Choose Add custom connector and paste your Notivo URL. Only
your account can use it.
Save a plan with @notivo. Back in the chat, plan as usual. When you want to keep
something, say @notivo and it saves that plan to Notivo.
What the connector can and cannot do
Notivo gives Claude three tools and no more: save_plan,
note_about_person, and list_my_topics. That is the
whole surface. Claude can save a plan you point at and check which topics you keep. It cannot read your
existing notes back, it does not save the whole conversation, and it never touches the Black Box or
scores anyone. Notivo only saves plans that match the topics you set, so it stays a save-only filter.
Think with your AI. Execute with Notivo.
Connect once, then say @notivo whenever a plan is worth keeping.
Does connecting Notivo to Claude need a paid Claude plan?
No. Claude gives every account one custom-connector slot, including Free, so the connection works on any Claude plan. On the Notivo side, setting your topics is free, and saving a plan from a chat is part of the Notivo Plus plan.
Is there a Notivo MCP server?
Yes. Notivo runs an MCP server that Claude connects to through a custom connector URL from your account. It gives Claude three tools: save_plan, note_about_person, and list_my_topics. It saves plans and lists your topics; it does not browse your notes.
Will Claude read my Notivo notes?
No. The connector is save-only. Claude can save a plan you point at with @notivo and check which topics you have, but it cannot read your existing notes back, it never saves the whole chat, and it never touches the Black Box.
Is a saved plan private?
A saved plan becomes a regular Notivo note, private by default and scoped to your own account, stored on secured infrastructure. It is not end-to-end encrypted; only the Black Box vault is.
